Dr Ipshita Gupta has joined the Kwan Research Group to investigate the acoustic properties of our novel multi-cavity polymer particles as well as their therapeutic efficacy. She joins us from a prestigious background, which includes a Phd in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Oxford University, UK.

The Kwan Research Group has been awarded a grant to build a wearable biomedical device to aid maturation of arteriovenous fistula (AV Fistula) in end stage renal disease patients. We are working with innovative clinicians at Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital.

Kwan Research Group in collaboration with A*STAR's Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences and Assoc. Atsushi Goto's lab at NTU's Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry was awarded an Industrial Alignment Pre-positioning Grant in Specialty Chemicals to develop novel dual responsive switch-based polymers.
